it wasn't the gs, the oc gto, basically a gtx with a slower memory speed (coolbits will soon sort this out!) and a ton less than the cheapest gtx i have seen on the net. you ok buddy? Smile

well i got a pair of gto's for about £180 each, i dont know if i will go for the swiftech ram cools, i have only just realised they are 1/4" barbs on them, i'd have to use their f fittings, which i didn't want to do.... we'll see..... Confused

right, got my cards this morning! i'm not going to use the ram cools, going to stick some swiftech ram sinks on them. found out some info on the gto's as well, they are limited, as nvidia wanted to get rid of the g71 gpu's they had kicking around, so made the gto's. they were designed as oem, but wanted to make room for the g80 core. it is a gtx, just with slower memory clock speeds. coolbits'll soon sort that one out! here's some pics.

it's designed to be silent, i tested the fan by pluging it into my 78gt, and yes it is quiet...it's just...air cooling...cant do it!!!!!!

it's a huge heatpipe heatsink, i have a cunning plan for one of them (the other will go on the 78gt-hopefully and on ebay)[a small hint-semiconductors will be involved, if i can find space!!]

the mcw60 on place, awaitng the ram sinks to go on the memory...over-clock posted them, so i'll get them at work tomorrow-chased up blackdog, but no response yet... Evil or Very Mad

i'm gunna swap the end plate s fron the gt's over, i don't like the dual-slot things-if i was using air coolin i'd keep them...obviously, but...air.....cooling...nope def cant do it! Twisted Evil

Oh nice, MSI as well.
I had a MSI GF4 which I sold a while back, it was still going strong.

The MCW60 rocks
